Be a role model!

184274_10150190438942678_3240268_nBe a role model and show others, that either you will find a way or you will create a way, but you will not create an excuse.

Even if some of your colleagues has a problem to each solution – be a role model and proof that you act like a lady, think like a man and work like a boss.

Be a role model and remember, that how you make others feel about themselves, says a lot about you.

Be a role model and show that divas don’t do drama, they do business.

Be a role model and show that successful people always have two things on their lips: silence and smile.

Be a role model and leave a little sparkle wherever you go and in whatever you do.

Be inspired and don’t forget to fly, role models!

Thrilling is fine. Mattering is more important

1I’m always impressed by people with ideas and ambition.

Such person is Seth Godin – an American author, entrepreneur, marketer, and public speaker.

Here are some of his quotes on marketing and leadership.

Enjoy them!

    1. People don’t buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories and magic.
    2. The cost of being wrong is less than the cost of doing nothing.
    3. If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try.
    4. The reason it seems that price is all your customers care about is that you haven’t given them anything else to care about.
    5. Don’t find customers for your products, find products for your customers.
    6. Everyone is not your customer.
    7. You have everything you need to build something far bigger than yourself.
    8. Be genuine. Be remarkable. Be worth connecting with.
    9. Please, stop waiting for a map. We reward those who draw maps, not those who follow them.
    10. The reason they want you to fit in is that once you do, they can ignore you.
    11. People don’t buy what they need. They buy what they want.
    12. I can tell you this: Leaders have nothing in common.
    13. Soon is not as good as now.
    14. You have no idea what you’re doing. If you did, you’d be an expert, not an artist.
    15. Thrilling is fine. Mattering is more important

Be inspired and don’t forget to fly.

“No” is your best friend

678When I first saw the appearance of Roel van de Wiele on the stage in the video presentation today, I thought “oh, what a strange man”. And then he started to talk…to talk not about the virtual world, but about the real one and to remind in very intriguing way about the rule “work hard, play hard”.

Some of his wise words in this video presentation:

  • If you have to eat a frog, don’t stare too long at it. And if you have to eat many frogs, don’t start with the smallest one.
  • When you are enthusiast and you want to make the best of your life, then you often use the word “Yes” – “Yes, I’ll do that”. And you all know it – the “No” is your best friend, but it’s very difficult.
  • In business if two men always agree, one of them is unnecessary.
  • The most beautiful word in the education of the children is “no”, because if you always use “yes” you’re quite likeable, but w/o respect.
  • Say “no” to things, which immediately have results, because that’s not making life in progress.
  • Europeans have the watches and Africans have the time.
  • Goal is a dream with deadline.

Do you want more?

In the video below you could see the inspiring presentation of this charming Belgian, who reminds me not to judge a book by its cover.

Enjoy it!

TED talks on Marketing

file000619580246Years ago, when I was a student in Marketing, I found out the magic of TED talks.

They were for me a model for:

  • how one successful presenter should act
  • what to be the body language of the presenter
  • how to create one presentation
  • how to present it in front of the respective audience in the most charismatic, remarkable and effective way.

It was a base for comparison. And it still is.

Today in the material are presented 4 TED talks/ presentations on Marketing, that for sure will motivate you by presenting Marketing in 4 different perspectives.

Enjoy them!

Seth Godin: The tribes we lead

Dan Cobley: What physics taught me about marketing

Rory Sutherland: Life lessons from an ad man

Stefan Sagmeister: The power of time off

Time management

You could have many skills and knowledges, but if you don’t have the right ones, you could not achieve anything.

One of these skills is the time management. If you don’t have this skill, don’t blame others, that your lack of time management is not their emergency.

Below are summarized 12 time wasters by gosiarysuje.pl
