As 72% of Germans prefer vacations abroad, German Rail created special communication campaign for raising awareness of the beautiful local adventures with low-cost train rides.
The campaign uses the communication approach of comparisons by comparing worldwide famous places with local German spots very similar as a vision and beauty.
The main idea of the campaign is that you don’t have to go abroad on an expensive vacation when you have so many local beautiful places, which you haven’t seen yet and you can easily reach them by using the budget-friendly German train rides.
The headline of the campaign is: “No need to fly – Around the world in Germany.”
