One coat can change a winter
There are so many beautiful songs about New York.
So many beautiful movies, images, stories.
But beside them there are also other stories, related with the other side of the reality – the big amount of homeless people, living outside on the streets.
For these people the little gestures make big difference.
Such little gesture could be one coat in the cold winter days and nights – a coat, which to replace the cardboard, used for a shelter.
Exactly this is the main idea of the communication campaign today.
It’s developed by the the organization “New York Cares” and its main goal is to provide coats for the homeless people.
They are presented as cardboard figures looking for warmth during the cold winter days.
The key message on the key visuals is touching and scaring: “One coat can change a winter. This winter New York Cares is collecting 50 000 more, building on 35 years and 2.7 million coats for New Yorkers who need them most. Help at ThinkingOutsideTheBox.com”
