The brand image is related with the way one brand is perceived by the customers and positioned in their mind.

Important role for achieving this has the development of a strong brand identity – it is related with the main message, vision, colors, font and logo of the brand, which in their combination create the magic of the memorable system of the brand identity.

And the proof for a strong brand identity is when you take out the logo of a key visual, but despite this the brand is still recognizable, because of the whole system of brand identity elements on the consumer’s mind.

A great example for this is the communication campaign today of McDonald’s, launched in New Zealand.

The key visuals are without any logo, but it’s so clear what brand it is all about – one product name (from McDonald’s menu), one color (red), one font and the main message, written in yellow: “You know where.”

And indeed, with so strong brand identity, developed through the years, “you really know”.
