The permanent mark

Online abuse

Communication is the key in each area of our lives.

But it can also be a tool for bullying, especially in teenager age, when people are so fragile, while building their own identity and character.

Having in mind this, a research held by Cybersmile Foundation has shown that the mental health of 88% of Gen Z was negatively affected by using of social media.

And here is so much important the communication with the parents and the habit, which has to be developed in children to share their thoughts, problems and fears with their parents. Only in this way the language of hate in social media won’t leave a dark mark in their lives and mental health.

Together with ad agency “adam&eve DDB” the Cybersmile Foundation has developed a communication campaign, raising this serious social issue.

The visuals of the campaign illustrate faces of children, covered by tattoos as a symbol of the permanent words, which stay on their mind and influence their whole lives – words, which no one can see, but they feel them each day in silence since the day they’ve heard them for the first time.

The key message of the campaign is: “Online abuse leaves a permanent mark.”

Below it with smaller font is also written: “These are real comments sent to real children.”

And here are the attention-grabbing key visuals – they are harsh as the reality!
